Rigby

Rigby is a large Lurcher. He could be Deerhound X.   He is a friendly affectionate dog who will need a home with plenty of space to stretch that long body of his. He is about 4 years old. He seems very friendly and would make a great companion for anyone with another dog.  Rigby gets very anxious when he is left on his own, so would prefer a home with someone who is home for most of the day. He needs an understanding owner who can help him with his anxiety issues.

Rigby has just been returned from his foster home where he has been for the past 3 months. He was returned due to the foster carers family comitments and becuase they felt he should be homed with another dog.

The foster carer told us that Rigby is fantastic with dogs, cats and children. He can be left with another dog for as long as needed but alone he gets anxious and very unsettled. He loves laying on the sofa and chilling out but isn't particularly cuddlely although very attentive.

Rigby could be homed with children but they would need to be older (probably 6+) as we think he has probably been ill treated by children and is now slightly nervous (but never agressive) around children.

Rigby has now been rehomed, well done Rigby!
