Rod Baverstock has run St Giles Kennels since November 2000.  Rod has been in the pet trade for many years and has trained gundogs for over 25 years. He lives on site and is helped on a daily basis by a strong team of caring staff, including a City and Guilds trained and qualified groomer .

Dog Boarding

Each dog has its own covered run and indoor sleeping area. They are exercised daily. Any special dietary or medical needs are happily met. Extra heating is available at a low cost.

We happily take dogs who have behavioural problems. We can provide accomodation without neighbours to look at if the dog prefers it.

Your dog must have up to date proof of vaccination. Whilst we strongly recommend vaccination against Canine Cough we do not insist upon it. Homeopathically vaccinated dogs can also be accomodated in a separate wing.

Dogs may share accomodation with their companions when a reduced rate will be offered.

Prices

Prices are inclusive of VAT and food unless the dog needs a specific diet not stocked by us. No reduction is given. Rates are for day or part day regardless of the time of delivery or collection.

Dogs - £10.95 per day or £9.75 each, if sharing .

Cats - £6.50 per day or £5.75 each if sharing .

A grooming and bathing service is offered to both resident and non resident dogs

Cattery

Cats are in individual pens overlooking a country area with lake ( actually its more a stream) and ducks. Heating is available at a low cost. Indoor facilities are available for cats who live in  or for those who want a quieter stay.

As with all our  boarders,  prices are inclusive of food and charged at a daily rate.

Small Animals/birds and tortoises

These spend their holiday in Carey's Cabin where we provide wooden hutches some with an outdoor facility. We can accommodate most pets including ferrets, chinchillas, gerbels, hamsters, rabbits and rats.  Some birds may well enjoy residing in a staff restroom and office where they can watch the goings on of the day, although, at the moment, parrots have to go in Carey's cabin as we do not have enough room in the office .

 Delivery and Collection

We offer a delivery and collection service which is available for  all our clients. This service is also available to transport pets to airports and if moving to and from this area  in our air-conditioned van.

Export

We offer an export service  from a complete package, including obtaining a pets passport, booking the flights, getting the cages and delivering your pet to the airport . In addition we can transport your pets overland to Europe in our air-conditioned van if you prefer .
